Schultz Shipping GmbH explores AI-supported leadership in a five-week training

Company Background (https://schultzgroup.eu/)
Schultz Shipping GmbH is part of Schultz Shipping Group, an international maritime and logistics group with operations across Denmark, Germany and Poland. Operating in a fast-moving maritime environment, the company relies on close coordination, direct communication and strong local leadership in its day-to-day operations.
Challenge
In an operational business with teams working across different locations, leadership needs to stay close to the organisation while keeping additional processes and administrative workload to a minimum.Schultz Shipping GmbH therefore agreed to participate in a pilot of Skill Up Leader to explore whether an automated, AI-supported approach could provide useful additional insights for day-to-day leadership.
Objective
Explore whether AI-supported leadership insights could provide an additional management perspective without creating significant administrative effort or introducing complex new processes.
Solution
Schultz Shipping GmbH participated in a five-week pilot of Skill Up Leader’s AI-supported leadership program. The automated approach provided management with additional insights and suggested areas of focus while requiring very little additional management time.
Outcome
The pilot gave Schultz Shipping GmbH the opportunity to test a different approach to leadership insights in a real operational environment. In particular, the low level of administrative effort allowed the concept to be tested without creating an additional management process.
